Father Pete Helmlinger - Pastor

Father Pete Helmlinger of Sidney, Ohio was appointed pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary Church effective July 1, 2008. His mother, Marianne still resides in Sidney, and his two brothers and four sisters are scattered throughout the country.

Prior to entering the seminary, Fr. Helmlinger spent twenty years in the business world as a plant engineer in the communication industry with his last position in business being with Sprint. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Thomas More College in Northern Kentucky and a Masters Degree in Divinity at Mt. St. Mary’s Seminary.  He has been stationed at Incarnation Parish in Centerville, Ohio since his ordination in 2004.

Fr. Pete is enjoying being one of the newest members of the Greenhills community and is looking forward to meeting all of his new neighbors.  In his spare time, Fr. Pete plans to enjoy his passion for fishing at local Winton Woods Lake.
