Father Charles Bowes - Pastor

I was born in Jacksonville, Florida on February 4, 1944.

I received an Associates of Arts at Saint Thomas College in Hartford, Connecticut in 1964.  I continued with my education receiving a Master of Arts (philosophy) at Athenaeum of Ohio, Cincinnati in 1966 and a Master of Arts (theology) at Athenaeum of Ohio, Cincinnati in 1971 and a Master of Arts (communication arts) at University of Notre Dame, Indiana in 1971.

I was Ordained in 1971 and worked as an Associate Pastor from 1971-1983 in Jacksonville, Florida and Cincinnati, Ohio.  I served as a high school teacher in from 1971-1973 at Bishop Kenny High School, Jacksonville, Florida.  I served as the Vocation Director, Director of Religious Education and Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Saint Augustine, Florida from 1974-1977. I served as the Pastor for Saint John the Baptist, Cincinnati OH from 1983 - 1998 and for Our Lady of the Rosary from 1998 to present.
